check the help of rdesktop, it is possible to control the sound. I am using linux but rdesktop to windows 7 server. I play music and listen to music on the server:
rdesktop -0 -p - -r sound:remote -z -x l -a 16 -f -u ... -d ...

Things about GO annotation
